Silk Base Coat (Unscented)

I could definitely fall in love with this base coat. It ticks almost all the boxes. However, it is very thick so I had to thin it with polish thinner. It's still quite thick so I will only use it with my one coaters. After 3 coats and a top coat my natural nails looked like press ons :/

This is, hands down, my favorite base coat. It leaves my nails protected, and nail polishes adhere nicely.

I LOVE Silk Base Coat! I have absolutely NO CLUE just how many bottles of this I’ve used -but it is a lot! My nails suffered terribly after treatment for breast cancer. They were peeling terribly, & had terrible vertical ridges. While the ridges continue to be treated cosmetically (Seamless Ridge Filler is da bomb!!!), the peeling of my nails has improved so much that there is just 1 nail that peels every now & then. Before, 9 of my nails peeled terribly & peeled all the time. I’ve been using this for about 2 years & am positive it is the reason for my healthy nails. You HAVE to try this base coat!!! Thank you Amanda for restoring my nails!!!

I started using Silk back before any of the other base coats were out yet and it transformed my nail health. I still love using it now even with how much I love Cuticula's base coats. It's perfect if you'd like to just go naked on the nails as well. It's a great product that I don't go without.
